What happened
Lernx advertises remote HR, sales, and marketing internships with ₹5,000–₹10,000 stipends on LinkedIn. After selection with little or no interview, interns report being told to sell Lernx's own paid courses to friends and family, recruit more interns, and hit referral targets. Stipends are described as conditional and often never paid. Students who completed tasks say they were removed for 'poor performance' without payment or certificates. Multiple public posts also mention legal threats and fake notices demanding large sums from former interns who warned others.
Why it seemed suspicious
Course-selling instead of real work, pyramid-style recruiting, unrealistic stipend promises, pressure on personal networks, and a large volume of consistent negative reports from students across LinkedIn, Reddit, and Glassdoor.
