What happened

Students report emails and ads promising 'integrated' or 'MNC' internships naming multiple major tech companies in one offer—often without the student ever applying. The pitch includes instant shortlisting, Zoom training sessions, and a stipend only after paying registration or course fees (commonly ₹200–₹1,000+). Victims describe pre-recorded sessions, no real company project, and certificates that major employers do not recognize. Some programs falsely imply IIT or AICTE endorsement.

Why it seemed suspicious

Legitimate MNC internships are never sold as a bundle of brand names. Payment required to 'confirm' selection, no interview process, generic 'Dear Student' emails, and IIT/MNC logos used without official verification.
