What happened

Students report internships from companies that call themselves MNCs or international firms on LinkedIn and offer letters, but have no credible global presence, few real employees, and operations limited to selling courses or recruiting more interns. The title 'MNC' is used to impress students and parents while the actual work is domestic telemarketing, referral chains, or certificate farming.

Why it seemed suspicious

Inflated corporate branding, follower counts disconnected from team size, no verifiable multinational clients, and work that does not match the prestige implied by the label.
